Vibratory feeders VZ 1300, VZ 1800

Our VS 1300 and VZ 1800 vibrating feeders handle the automatic billet feeding for induction heating systems.

The vibrating feeder consists of a cylinder-shaped tank with a feeding path on the internal wall of the tank. The tank assembly is solidly connected to two rotating vibrators and embedded on a spring array. During operation, the billets are carried up along the feeding path. Their positioning on the feeding track gradually changes as they travel and as they near the outlet, they are lined up one after another, matched in the direction of their longitudinal axis.

Optimal billet effeciency achieved when the feeder is filled up to 3/4 of its volume and by approximately 200 kg a dose.

The feeders are designed in two tank sizes (VZ 1300, VZ 1800) and available in a left or right version (for the output).

Filling the vibratory feeder can be accomplished in one of two ways:

  • Vibratory interfeeder VMZ 2000
  • Bin unloader 2000 or VP 2003

Loading the VZ 1300/1800 Vibratory Feeder via the VMZ 2000 interfeeder, supplemented with the bin unloader VP 2000

If there is enough space in the forge, the loading process of vibratory feeders VZ 1300 and VZ 1800 is optimal by means of our vibratory interfeeder VMZ 2000. In this arrangement it is possible to unload the whole pallet contents (max. 2000kg) into the interfeeder VMZ 2000 at once, which then provides smooth and consistent loading into the vibratory feeder VZ1300 (VZ1800).

Loading of the vibratory feeder directly from the bin unloader does not require as much factory floorspace. However, the operator should be present more often so as to monitor the feeder tank level, and prevent overloading.
