Feeding/Input Systems

Feeding mechanisms located before the heating system

  • Bin Unloader  - bin unloaders are designed for emptying billets from pallet bins to the vibratory feeder, or vibratory interfeeder. Bins are placed into the unloader receiver using a forklift or overhead crane.
  • Vibratory Feeder - Vibratory feeders are designed for automatic feeding of billets to the heater.
  • Vibratory Interfeeder - Vibratory interfeeder VMZ 2000 serves for gradual filling of the vibratory feeder models VZ 1300 an VZ 1800.
  • Plate Feeder - the BD plate feeder serves to supply a consistent feed of billets, oriented in-line, one after another.

  • appropriate for frequent changes in the size sortiment of heated pieces

Angled stepping conveyor with a pneumatic piston

  • cold pieces are added to the conveyor at the standing level of the forge floor
  • capability of one operator to care for more machines
  • easy inductor emptying

Horizontal conveyor with pneumatic jaws

  • appropriate in conjuction with vibratory feeders VZ 1300 or VZ 1800 (automatic operation)
  • suitable for large series of one size of material
  • simple inductor emptying

Horizontal conveyor with a driven-pulley feed mechanism

  • offers consistent feeding action of billets through the inductor
  • suitable for shorter billets
  • appropriate when used in connection with vibratory feeders VZ 1300 or VZ 1800 (automatic operation)
  • easy emptying of the inductor
